Meet Prather Fuller
At just 24 years old, I took a leap of faith and opened Prodigy Hair Salon with one simple goal: to create more than just a beautiful salon—I wanted to build a place where stylists could grow, thrive, and become the best versions of themselves. That’s where the name Prodigy came from. I’ve always believed that talent can be nurtured, confidence can be built, and success is even sweeter when it’s shared.
Today, I’m incredibly proud to own a salon in the heart of Columbiana, Alabama. While we may not be the largest salon in the Birmingham area, I truly believe we have the biggest heart. What started as one dream has grown into a team of six passionate professionals who genuinely care about every guest who walks through our doors.
Behind the chair, my passion has always been helping people feel beautiful—not just because of a new hairstyle, but because of the confidence that comes with it. My favorite part of this industry is watching someone leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and like the very best version of themselves.
When I’m not at the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and our three children. Family is at the center of everything I do, and I’ve worked hard to build a business that reflects those same values of kindness, encouragement, and community.
As Columbiana continues to grow, my hope is that Prodigy Hair Salon grows alongside it. I’m passionate about supporting local businesses, creating opportunities for talented stylists, and continuing to make our salon a place where every guest feels welcomed, celebrated, and cared for.
